Governor Declares Virginia College Application Week November 26-30 at 16 Pilot Schools

Virginia's private colleges and universities supported a higher education initiative of Governor McDonnell's, College Application Week.  College Application Week piloted in 16 Virginia high schools with plans to expand in the near future.  “College Application Week gives high school students the assistance and encouragement to pursue higher education. I urge high school students to explore all higher education options, both private and public. Virginia’s private colleges and universities work hard to provide an exceptional education at a reasonable cost,” said Robert Lambeth, President of the Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia .
