Virginia

We Welcome Transfer Students

Transfer students are a vital part of the Virginia private college community, and contribute substantially to academic and extracurricular life. Virginia’s private colleges welcome qualified applicants.

Qualified students who wish to transfer from accredited two-year and four-year institutions should have complete transcripts forwarded from all colleges previously attended, as well as a secondary school transcript. Certification of good standing at the previous institution should also be provided. In addition, some colleges require the results of the SAT I: Reasoning Test (or the ACT).

Policies related to transfer admission, acceptance of credit, advanced standing, financial aid, and housing vary from college to college – ask your admission counselor lots of questions. To obtain more information regarding transfer policies and procedures, either call the admissions offices or click on the name of each college you are considering below.
