Richmond, VA – The Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia (CICV), operating as Virginia Private Colleges, proudly announces the launch of its newly redesigned website, accessible through both www.vaprivatecolleges.org or www.cicv.org. This modern, responsive interface marks a new era in the digital presence of Virginia’s private colleges, offering prospective students, parents, counselors, and other stakeholders streamlined access to information and resources about private colleges in Virginia. The site was developed in partnership with McGuireWoods Consulting, LLC, a full-service public affairs firm offering federal, state, and local government relations, infrastructure and economic development, strategic communications, and grassroots mobilization services, headquartered in Richmond, Virginia.
The key features of this new website include:
- College Finder: A dynamic tool that simplifies the search for the perfect college. Students can now filter and select institutions based on their unique preferences, academic interests, and career aspirations.
- Interactive College Map: A visual guide that offers a geographical overview of CICV member colleges across Virginia. Students can explore different campuses virtually, enhancing their understanding of each college’s surroundings.
- Updated Information: Comprehensive details about each member institution, including convenient links to admissions, financial aid, sports, and other relevant information.
- Mobile-Friendly Design: Recognizing the importance of mobile accessibility, CICV.org is now optimized for all devices, ensuring a seamless experience whether on a desktop, tablet, or smartphone.
